The People Behind the Plans

We’re not your average financial firm — and we like it that way. At Asset Planning, our team is serious about helping you plan for the future, but we also believe in enjoying the ride along the way. When we’re not building personalized strategies for our clients, you’ll find us out volunteering in the community, hiking with our dogs, chasing after kids (or grandkids), sharing favorite recipes, or swapping vacation stories. We’re big on giving back, celebrating life’s moments, big and small, and keeping things in balance. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just here to manage your assets, we’re here to build real relationships and make life a little better, together.

Doing Good, Together

    In 2020, the API team donated food items to Casa Youth Shelter in Los Alamitos.

    Melani and her husband put together a charity cruise called Save the Headlights. All proceeds benefited a local women who was battling breast cancer.

    Sandy’s golden retriever, Lumi, is a certified therapy dog. She brings comfort to foster children, people in nursing homes and students at Los Alamitos High School during stressful times.

    API had over 300 masks made and mailed out to clients during the shortage due to Covid in 2020.

    Thank you to everyone who donated to our Precious Life Shelter drive. Your generosity helped provide common, everyday items that support residential and supportive services for homeless pregnant women.

    We collected donations just before Thanksgiving 2025 and delivered them with drop-off shortly after. We’re grateful to be part of a community that gives in a practical, meaningful way. Thank you again for your kindness and support.
